“Family” isn’t just kids and spouses — it’s anyone you love and consider part of your inner circle. Pets, roommates, best friends… if they make your heart full, they’re family!

No two families are alike, and neither are their sessions. Before we meet, I like to know how many people (and pets!) will join, children’s ages, and any unique needs, sensitivities, or mobility constraints. These details help me connect with shy kiddos, leery pets, and even Aunt Peg, who insists she’ll “break the camera if she smiles.” I also use this info to choose locations that feel comfortable, safe, and beautiful for everyone.

Once your session is booked, you’ll complete a brief questionnaire to define goals and desired images. This ensures your package, location, styling, and use of tools like flash all align with your vision.

During the session, expect a mix of posed photos and candid moments, creating a final gallery with variety perfect for prints, gifts, or family albums. Need styling advice?
