Studio Space Franklin is the realization of nearly twenty years of dreaming and doing. As a photographer, I longed for a consistent, welcoming environment where I could invite clients to have their milestones documented with ease and comfort — a space that fit both my family and my creative flow.
In 2023, my husband and I found the answer to our decade-long prayer for more space and fresh inspiration. On our new property sat a weathered woodworking shop — gritty, full of half-finished projects, and brimming with potential. After a year of renovations and the green light from Franklin City Council, Studio Space Franklin officially opened its doors as a shared studio for local creatives.
Whether you’re a photographer, artist, videographer, or small business owner, Studio Space Franklin is designed to help your creativity thrive in a comfortable, authentic setting.

INDOOR & OUTDOOR STUDIO RENTAL
Welcome to Studio Space Franklin, a bright, affordable natural-light studio in Franklin, Indiana, just minutes from I-65 and the Southside of Indianapolis — perfect for photographers, creators, and small productions. Our 600 sq. ft. indoor studio blends warmth, texture, and flexibility with bonus outdoor rural backdrops just steps away. Whether you’re capturing cozy lifestyle portraits or open-air scenes, you can enjoy both indoor and outdoor environments within the same rental — no add-on required.
Crisp sunrises and moody sunsets light the property, filtering through mature trees and rolling grass with views of The Legends Golf Course. Miss Cara can guide you to the best nooks for your session, making setup effortless.
We accept reservations up to 24-hours in advance. Booking contingent on availability. In the event of inclement weather, a reschedule may be arranged. Must pay in advance to book. Holiday or holiday weekend bookings are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Because we're a small space hosted at a residence, we manage bookings manually to be agile with evolving personal and professional plans. Thank you for your patience!

Studio RENTAL RATES

$60/hr.

$100/half day (4 consecutive hours)

$175/full day (8 consecutive hours)
Cancellations: A 20% deposit will be held for cancellations. Rental payments are 80% refundable up to 48 hours prior to the date reserved. After 48 hours, the rental payment is refundable at 50%; regardless of circumstances. The Company reserves the right to cancel contract for any reason with minimum 24 hours notice. In this case, The Company will refund renter 100% of rental fee.
Reschedules: Renters are allowed one complimentary reschedule to avoid forfeiting their rental deposit with a cancellation. If the reschedule is canceled the renter agrees to forfeit 50% of their rental payment.

We cannot always accommodate hourly run-over. If you're behind schedule or need grace to finish your session, please contact us to be sure we can extend your rental without inconveniencing another professional.

We can often book same-day throughout the week, though we ask for 24-hours notice on weekend dates. They are first come, first serve and are booked at time of payment.

Insurance is required to complete your booking. We do offer hourly recommendations.

Your booking time is inclusive of setup and tear-down. If you have unique needs let's work together! We can often arrange for early setup or extended tear-down.
MONTHLY PASS

$150/4 hours. Use your hours in consecutive chunks or spread them throughout the month. Hours start on the first day of the month and end on the last day of the month. Billed monthly on the 1st. Hours do not roll over.
